Who is responsible for your information
Pikclub Ltd ("PikClub", "we", "us") is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at support@pikclub.app.
Information we collect
- Account and profile information, including your name, email address and any profile image you choose to add.
- League activity, including leagues, invitations, entries, picks, predictions, scores, rules and organiser settings.
- Subscription information supplied by Apple or Google, including product, transaction, renewal and entitlement status. PikClub does not receive or store your full card details.
- Device and notification identifiers used to deliver alerts you enable.
- Usage, security, performance and diagnostic information used to operate, protect and improve PikClub.
- Support requests, player reports and moderation records when you contact us or report content.
- For prize promotions, eligibility and winner-verification information such as legal name, date of birth, UK address and reasonable identity or residency evidence.
How and why we use information
- To create and secure your account, provide leagues, calculate results and manage subscriptions under our contract with you.
- To provide support, prevent fraud, moderate reported content and improve service reliability where this is necessary for our legitimate interests.
- To send service messages and alerts you request. You can change notification permission in your device settings.
- To verify prize eligibility, administer and evidence a valid award, make payment and meet legal, accounting, consumer-protection and security obligations.
We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Who receives information
We use specialist providers for authentication, hosting, databases, email, diagnostics, push notifications and app-store billing. We share only the information needed for those services. League members can see the profile name, profile image, submitted status, revealed picks and results made visible by the relevant league rules. Hidden picks are not disclosed before their server-calculated reveal time.
International transfers and security
Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards. We use access controls, encryption in transit and operational monitoring designed to protect the service. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and deletion
We keep account data while your account is active. Operational, security, support, prize-administration and financial records are retained only while needed for the service, legal obligations or the establishment and defence of claims. Identity and residency evidence collected for winner verification is restricted to authorised personnel and deleted when it is no longer reasonably needed for verification or a related legal obligation. When an account is deleted, sign-in credentials and personal profile details are removed. Historical competition records may remain under "Deleted member" so other entrants retain an accurate result. Store transaction and prize-payment records may be retained for financial reconciliation and support.
Your rights and choices
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to receive a portable copy of information you provided. You can change notification permission on your device and delete your account from the Account screen. See the account deletion page if you no longer have the app. To make another privacy request, email support@pikclub.app.
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
Children
PikClub is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information contrary to this requirement, contact us so we can investigate and remove it.
Changes and contact
